Commercial Finance Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall Commercial Finance aspects: Billing & Credit Control; Trade Claim; Sales Depo
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing as well as on-time receivables collection
  • Act as Company’s Finance representative in relation to Distributors
  • Become Finance Business Partner to Sales Department in managing Sales Orders, Pricing, Discounts, Credit Memo, Collection, Trade Claims, Sales Depo; yet at the same time also act as Company’s Finance Guardian pertaining to Receivables
  • Establish effective and respectful communication with Distributors particularly related to Trade Claims (including reconciliation and action follow-up for any disputes), to ensure that all Claims be recorded properly and timely based on pre-approved Trade Spend Budget
  • Become BPO (Business Process Owner) for overall Sales Distribution (SD) Module in SAP system, including Master Data; Ensure that all Master Data be accurate and updated as per proper existing Approval Matrix
  • Manage financial process and operation in Sales Depo: ensure that all processes be executed as per Company’s SOP (related to stock, cash, data recording)
  • Be responsible of good and proper filing process of all Sales Invoices and Supporting Documents
  • Continuously create enhancement both to the process and human resources to increase effectivity, efficiency and productivity
  • Nurture and develop Commercial Finance Team to become an efficient,
  • productive, skillful, and solid team – rendering high-quality financial service to the whole organization


Requirements:

  • Earn Accounting Degree (S1) from a reputable university; MM/MBA is a plus
  • Have minimum 5 (five) years of experience in managing Commercial Finance (Sales Finance & Distribution) area; preferably in multi-national and FMCG company
  • Have understanding of basic Accounting Principles and Tax Regulations
  • Possess comprehensive understanding of financial control; able to implement proper control without creating interruption to the operation
  • Have good leadership, communication, analytical and inter-personal skills
  • Able to do multi-tasking, willing to be hands-on, self-starter, pro-active; Must be able to be a good collaborative team-player
  • Own willingness and ability to meet tight deadlines; can work under pressureAcquire good command of English both verbal and in writing
  • Able to operate Microsoft Excel and Power Point; Previous experience with SAP will be an advantage
